Elaine Sakiris is an artist based in Toronto whose photographs look at the wonder, mystery, poetry in the cycles and elements of day-to-day life. She is a graduate of  the New England School of Photography, holds a B.Comm. from the University of Ottawa and an MBA from the University of Toronto. Sakiris is also the daughter of an architect; she grew up drawing and making photographs in formal and informal settings.

Sakiris' is a recipient of the Tyler Munroe Award for Creative Excellence. Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions at the Griffin Museum of Photography (Winchester MA, U.S.A.), the New Space Center of Photography (Portland OR, U.S.A.), the Garner Center for Photographic Exhibitions (Boston MA, U.S.A.).

Her work has been published in print and online publications including SHOTS Magazine, Don't Take Pictures (online), and New England Exposure Online (PRC Boston).

Sakiris' photographs are also found in private collections.
