Born in Ottawa, Canada. The daughter of an architect, I grew up spending many hours in and out of the formal classroom setting, drawing, making photographs, and observing design. I initially studied computer science and marketing, receiving a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Ottawa and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Toronto.
In 2005, I graduated from The New England School of Photography with the honour of receiving the Tyler Monroe Award for Creative Excellence and Spirit. In addition to working on self-directed and long-term projects, I have explored various artistic media (drawing, painting, silk screen printing, creative writing) and sought out opportunities to study with exceptional photographers such David Hilliard, Platon Antoniou, and Mary Ellen Mark.
My images appear online, in publications, private collections, and exhibition spaces which include:
The Griffin Museum of Photography, Winchester MA, U.S.A.
New Space Center of Photography, Portland OR, U.S.A.
Garner Center for Photographic Exhibitions, Boston MA, U.S.A.
New England Exposure Online, PRC Boston.
